Robert Allen Norman, 63, died Thursday, January 21, 2021 at the Bluegrass Hospice Center in Lexington. He was born in Miami – Dade County, Florida on July 2, 1957, son of Patricia Nina Neal and the late Robert Louis Norman. Robert served as Corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was a rifle expert and received the Good Conduct medal. Robert retired in 2011 from the City of Harrodsburg where he served 5 years as Patrolman/Sergeant for Harrodsburg Police Department, 23 years as Superintendent for Harrodsburg Water Department and 2 Years as IT Technician for City of Harrodsburg. In addition to his father, he is predeceased by two brothers, Fred Norman, and James “Jimmy” Paul Norman.

In addition to his mother, Patricia Nina Neal, he is survived by his partner, Cherie Carroll; his son Brayden Norman; three brothers, David Norman, Douglas Norman, and Christopher Norman; two sisters, Patricia Ann Norman, and Cynthia (Norman) Freeman; two godchildren, Matthew, and Sarah Logan; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service will be 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at Camp Nelson National Cemetery and will be livestreamed through our Stith Funeral Home Facebook page. Visitation will be prior to the service from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at Stith Funeral Home in Danville. Please sign the guestbook or send a Hug from Home.
