Regina Ann Browning Gibson, 73 died May 13, 2018 in Danville. She was born on December 28, 1944 in Baltimore, Maryland, to the late Lawrence and Catherine Roth Browning. Regina was a member of Lexington Ave. Baptist Church and retired from the University of Kentucky College of Agriculture. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Jason Carl “Jack” Gibson.
Regina is survived by her son, Johnathan (Tonia) Gibson of Morehead, a daughter, Jacqueline (Ronald) Harless of Parksville, Ky.; a sister, Kathleen (Keith) Austin of Stanford, Ky. and four grandchildren, Erica Marie Harless, Kristine Nichole Harless, Jonah Case Gibson and Jaelyn Danielle Gibson.
Services will be 1 p.m., Thursday, May 17, 2018, at Lexington Ave. Baptist Church. Johnathan Gibson will officiate. A graveside service will follow in Bellevue Cemetery. Rev. Tommy Valentine will officiate. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at Stith Funeral Home in Danville from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Memorial donations are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
