Phillip Morgan Anderson, 62, died Friday, October 29, 2021 at his home. He was born in Danville, Kentucky on July 25, 1959, to the late Donald and Juanita Anderson. He attended Boyle County High School and joined the Navy where he served for six years. Phillip worked at Penn Ventilator for 20 years and retired from Centre College after 17 years of service.

Phillip was an avid fisherman and had a love of nature that will forever be passed on to his children and grandchildren. The riverbank was where his soul was most at peace. He devoted his time and energy to his family, which was his greatest love. His smile and laugh enlightened any given moment. He will be missed forever. Phillip was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Cheryl Anderson; and grandson, Fox Spears.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Barbara Tamme Anderson; two daughters, Cassie Chester (Justin) and Kristin Anderson; one son, Hunter Anderson; five grandchildren, Eli Anderson, Jeb Spears, Colton, Chloe, and Evie Chester; two sisters, Donna Breeze (Glenn) and Michelle Hilton (Chris); many loved nieces and nephews; brothers-in-laws, Bobby Tamme (Barbara) and Billy Tamme (Dena); and sisters-in-law, Julie Coffman (Archie) and Mary Southerland (Doug).

Public visitation will be held 11 am – 1 pm, Wednesday, November 3, 2021, followed by a private funeral service. Please sign the online guestbook and send a Hugs from Home.
