Patsy Lavern Gaddis Lunsford, 78, died Monday, January 31, 2022, surrounded by her family. She was born in Parksville on December 31, 1943, to the late William Thomas and Pebble Euna Bell Reese Gaddis. Patsy was graduate of Junction City High School and a member of Mt. Freeman Baptist Church. She worked as a cook for ATR’s cafeteria and for the Briarpatch, a quality inspector and machine operator for Redwing. Patsy enjoyed shopping at flea markets and yard sales, as well as tending to her flowers in her garden. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Marvin Lunsford; her sister Mary Anne Gaddis; her brothers, Jimmy Gaddis, Gary Gaddis, William Thomas Gaddis, and Harold Gaddis.

She is survived by her sons, Marvin Gragg Lunsford Jr (Sheila) of Boyle County and Ricky Lee Lunsford (Renda) of Danville; grandchildren, Michael Lunsford, Cody Lunsford, Chasity Moore, Brad Moore, Aaron Moore, and Charlie Adams and several great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 1pm, Monday, February 7, 2022, at Stith Funeral Home, Junction City. Rev. Mike Crowe will officiate. Burial will be in Junction City Cemetery. Visitation will be 11am – 1pm, Monday, prior to the service. Pallbearers will be Aaron Moore, Brad Moore, Michael Lunsford, Charlie Adams, Isaiah Moore, and Briscoe Crain. Honorary pallbearers will be her Great-Grandchildren. Burial will be in Junction City Cemetery. Memorial donations are suggested to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
