Owen Richard Keller, 81, died June 6, 2021 in Danville. Born July 29, 1939, he was the son of the late Owen Richard and Cecilia Brown Keller. Richard was a proud United States Air Force veteran, serving from 1957-1963. He retired in 1998 from Osram Sylvania in Versailles where he worked as a machinist. Richard loved good food, being outside, traveling, woodworking, collecting antiques, and spending time with his family. He was a University of Kentucky Basketball fan as well as a NASCAR fan. His favorite driver was Jimmie Johnson. He enjoyed watching his favorite movies, The Godfather and Silence of the Lambs. Richard always had a fighting spirit and a positive attitude. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by a brother, Don Keller.

He is survived by his wife, Connie Keller; two daughters, Dena Keller of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Cassie (Ansel) Brummett of Danville; two sons, Bryce Keller of Lexington, and Artie (Judi) Winchester of Lancaster; a brother, Dale (Sue) Keller of Neosho, Missouri; three grandchildren, Jada “Tink” (Chris) Brady, Cameron (Tiffany) Winchester, and Chance Winchester; one great granddaughter Sierra Paige Brady; a sister in-law, Miriam Keller of Chicago, Illinois; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Mei-Mei.
