Nancy Ann Lamb Mann, died Thursday, July 25, 2022.  Born November 14, 1950, she was the daughter of the late George Daniel and Mae Causey Lamb.  She graduated from Boyle County High School in the Class of 1968, earned her Bachelors Degree from Eastern Kentucky University, her MA Degree from Eastern Kentucky University and her MS Degree from the University of Tennessee.  She was an educator for 39 years, 38 of those years at Kentucky School for the Deaf as a Teacher, Curriculum Coordinator and an Assessment Coordinator and a year as a teacher at Perryville Elementary School. Nancy was also an adjunct professor at Bluegrass Community Technical College and Supervisor of Teacher Practicum students for Eastern Kentucky University. She loved working at Kentucky School for the Deaf and deeply cared for her students.  In addition to her parents, Nancy is predeceased by her sister, Hershelean “Hershey” Vonlinger.

She is survived by her former husband and best friend, Kent Mann; her son, Daniel “Dan” Clay Mann; her sister, Geraldine (David) Huffman; nieces and nephews; and too many friends to list.

Visitation will be held from 4 – 6 pm, Monday, August 1, 2022, at Lexington Avenue Baptist Church. The funeral service will be 1 pm, Tuesday, August 2, 2022, at Lexington Avenue Baptist Church. Dr. Bob Baker will officiate. Father Norman Fischer and Kent Mann will speak.  Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery.  Memorial donations are suggested to the Danville-Boyle County Humane Society or Hope House at MD Anderson – Houston.
