Minnie L. Wilson, 81, died Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. She was born in Mercer County on January 13, 1937 to the late Orville and Anna Mae Ball Stine.
Minnie was a graduate from the Danville School of Nursing and worked as an LPN for Dr. Aumiller, Dr. Russell and Dr. Spurlin. She was married to her beloved husband, William Alfred Wilson for 60 years. Minnie was an active church member of Hedgeville Baptist Church. She served her Savior through involvement in the WMU, teaching Sunday School and ministering to the needs of others. She truly loved her Savior. Minnie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and a friend to all. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, Samuel and Wayne Stine; two half-brothers, Ralph and Clifton Stine; two foster brothers, Hugh and Howard Smith.
She is survived by her husband, William Alfred Wilson of Danville; two sons, Mike (Dodi) Wilson of Burgin, Terry (Debbie) Wilson of Stanford; a daughter, Sandy (Paul) Bohman of Perryville; seven grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Friday, December 21, 2018 at Hedgeville Baptist Church. Rev. Johnathan Grizzell will officiate. Pallbearers will be Benjamin Bohman, Ethan Wilson, Corey Wilson, Christian Wilson, Hagen Wilson and John Rigsby. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy and Brenda Lair, Boyd Wesley, Bill Randolf, Everett and Evonna Stafford, Barb Kasak, Carolyn Vest, Ginnie Hall and Harvey and Bonnie Farris. Burial will be in Danville Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m., Thursday, December 20, 2018 at Hedgeville Baptist Church.
