Michael Wayne McGill, 44, died Wednesday, May 26, 2021, at Norton’s in Louisville. He was born in Danville on July 15, 1976, to Patricia Anne McGill and the late John “Bubba” Pope. Michael attended Danville High School and BCTC. He had a passion for Art and writing poetry. Michael was a diehard Pittsburgh Steelers fan and enjoyed watching UK Wildcats, Chicago Bulls, and WWE. He absolutely adored and loved his daughter Shalissa. Michael enjoyed playing outdoor sports with his family and hanging out with his friends watching basketball games. He loved his family and friends and was kind to everyone.

In addition to his mother, Pat McGill, he is survived by his daughter, Shalissa Kay Anna McGill of Danville; his brother, Bradley McGill of Danville; his niece, Ximani L’Relle McGill of Danville and a host of extended family and friends.
