Michael Lindsay Campbell, 74, was called home to glory, September 27, 2021, in Danville, Kentucky. Born April 6, 1947, in Dayton, Ohio, he was the son of Woodson and the late Jeanetta Campbell. Lindsay was the owner of Lexington Insurance Agency in Lexington, Kentucky. He was a charter member of Grace Baptist Church. His love of family, friends and his community embodied his strength and faithfulness. Lindsay loved watching his grandchildren participate in their school and sporting events. He is predeceased by a brother, Kenzie (Judy) Campbell; and a sister, Debbie (Jim) Hume.

Lindsay is survived by his wife, Diane Blake Campbell; his son, Michael (Nicole) Blake Campbell; his daughter, Michelle (Bill) Campbell Augustine; sisters, Sharon Kaye Campbell and Brenda (Rick) Miller; brother, Mel (Barbara) Campbell; five grandchildren, Eloise “Weezie” Campbell Augustine, William “Popaw’s lil Buddy” Blake Augustine, Blake “Boomer” Ryan Campbell, Grace “Gracie” Carey Augustine, and Margaret “MAC” Ann Campbell; and many nieces and nephews.

Public visitation will be held from 6pm to 9pm, Thursday, September 30, 2021, at Stith Funeral Home, 318 W. Broadway, Danville, Kentucky 40422. Funeral service will be at 11 am, Friday October 1, 2021, at Grace Baptist Church, 2734 Old Stanford Rd, Danville, Kentucky 40422. Pastor Todd Nibert will officiate. Burial will be in Grace Baptist Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Bill Augustine, Will Augustine, Blake Campbell, Mel Campbell, Rick Miller, and Jim Hume. Honorary pallbearers will be Terry Blake, Stephen Blake, Teague Sims, David Camic, Larry Reesman, Bob Bosse, and Joe Cerzosie and the Men of Grace Baptist Church of Danville. Memorial donations are suggested to Grace Baptist Church, Mars Hill Academy in Mason, Ohio, and Lexington Christian Academy.
