Mary Ann Little, 70, passed away Friday, December 9, 2022 with her family present at the time of her death. She was the widow of Kermit Little. Born April 17, 1952, in Danville, she was the daughter of the late Arlan Bruce and Marie Shearer Feather.

Mary Ann grew up in Parksville where she attended Parksville Christian Church. She was very active in church youth activities, served as a camp counselor at youth camps, and hosted volleyball parties for several years. Mary Ann was an active member of the Parkville 4-H Club. She attended Parksville Elementary and was a 1970 graduate of Boyle County High School.  Mary Ann started her working career at Feather’s Grocery as a dry goods buyer and also managed books for Parksville Water District. She decorated cakes at Jordan’s Super Value and was a sales clerk for both Hub Frankel and Southern States. Continuing education allowed her to join the medical field where she was a certified coder and held positions at Danville Radiology, Santa Fe Pathology, KY Ear Nose and Throat, and finished her career at Danville Family Physicians. Mary Ann loved to sing and performed special music at churches around the area. She directed children and adult choirs at both Parksville Christian Church and Parksville Baptist Church. She was a member of several gospel groups, along with singing in choirs at Indian Hills Christian Church, Calvary Baptist Church, First Baptist Church, Santa Fe, NM, The Summer Singers, and Sounding Joy.

Mary Ann is survived by a brother John (Jenny) Feather, a niece Ashley Feather and a step-son Mark Little. Other than her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Bruce Feather and a nephew, Ben Feather.

Visitation will be Monday, December 12, 2022, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Calvary Baptist Church and the service will follow on Tuesday at 11:00 am at the church, led by Bro. Barry Harmon and Pastor Brent Rowe. Burial will follow at Parksville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to Calvary Baptist Church Operation Christmas Child or Calvary Baptist Church Cultivate.
