Margaret Ann Spodnik, 93, died Monday, February 5, 2018.  She was born in Niznislovkof, Czechoslovakia on March 29, 1924 to the late Matis and Anna Krupa Spodnik. She graduated from Gorton High School in Yonkers, New York.  Margaret retired from a career in Sales and Retail at a Department Store.  She relocated to Danville, KY from New York in March 2016.  Margaret attended St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church.  She loved animals and gardening.  In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by two brothers, Steve and John Spodnik.

She is survived by three sisters, Mary Jaye, Anne Mikuliak and Josephine Anderek.

The funeral mass will be held at 11am, Thursday, February 15, 2018 at St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Danville, KY.  Celebrant will be Father Alan Carter.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to Heritage Hospice or St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church.
