Lisha Renee Hampton, age 60, left this world Sunday, January 2nd for
her eternal home in glory. She was born in Lebanon, Kentucky on June
22, 1961 and was the daughter of Judy Wilson Perkins and the late Ed
Perkins Jr. Judy and Ed had 2 other children, Allen Perkins and
Michael (Tracy) Perkins. Lisha was a long time member of the Danville
Church of God and enjoyed serving the Lord by helping others. She
loved to live life to the fullest and strongly believed in having fun.
The love of her life was her husband, Larry Hampton, with whom she
spent over 43 years. Together they raised 3 children: Jason (Katrina)
Hampton, Erica Hampton, and Lillian Taylor Hampton. Lisha has 2
grandchildren, Trinity Hampton and Tabitha Cruz Hampton, daughters of
Jason and Katrina Hampton.

Lisha enjoyed gardening, working on the farm, decorating, and helping
others. She was creative and one of a kind. Lisha was a very
intelligent woman who loved history and was always ready to face a new
challenge. Her favorite role and life mission was being a wife, mom,
and grandmother.

Visitation will be from 6-9 PM Wednesday, January 5th at Danville
Church of God (516 S. Fourth Street). Funeral service will be held at
Danville Church of God Thursday, January 6th at 1 PM. Service will be
conducted by Brother Bryan Montgomery and Sister Marilyn Daugherty.
Pallbearers are Lucas Perkins, David Perkins, Charles Hodge, Trevor
Hodge, Chris Duggins, and Shargarie Argrett. Burial will be in
Springhill Cemetery in Harrodsburg, Kentucky.
