Linda Lee Brummett Faulconer left this earth to be with God and her momma and daddy on Monday morning, August 3rd, 2020. She died at home surrounded by loved ones as was her wish. She leaves behind her beloved husband, William “Bill” Faulconer, and her daughters Lauren Nicole Moody (Scott) and Faith Alysson Faulconer (Zach Harper).
Linda was born and raised on a dairy farm in western Boyle County where she milked cows before and after school most of her young life. She would spend the remainder of her life continuing to work hard and will always be remembered for that. She attended Boyle County High School and Eastern Kentucky University. She recognized that she and Bill both had to work to support the family so she chose jobs where she could be with her growing daughters. She also went on to be heavily involved in the Perryville Elementary School PTO where she gained many lifelong friends and ultimately served as PTO president for a year. During that time, she maintained the family mini farm outside of Perryville and partnered with her husband at Faulconer Mechanical Service where she was the office manager, dispatcher, chief cook, bottle washer, etc. After Faulconer Mechanical Service closed, she remodeled buildings in Perryville and mowed grass by the acre right up through the last week of her life. She loved working outdoors, visiting friends, cooking, and crafting with her daughters. Above all, her biggest joy came from taking care of her family and her dogs. She was willing to help anyone at any time and cared about everyone she knew.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, James Kinnard Brummett, Sr. and Mildred Lorrine Franklin Brummett. Along with her husband, daughters and sons-in-law she is also survived by her brothers, James Brummett, Jr. (Kristi), Gary Wayne Brummett (Tina), Thomas Gene Brummett (Donna) and sister JoAnn Klein (Lewis). Additionally, she is survived by her grandson, Mason Moody, 18 nieces and nephews, and numerous great- and great-great nieces and nephews. Finally, she is survived by all eight of her beloved grandpups; Emjay, Otis, Puddles, Maisy, Meisha, Mojo, Bella, and Ginger.
The family will have a private graveside service and a celebration of life will be announced in the future. As Linda was highly sensitive to most fragrances, she specifically asked that any gifts be sent in her honor to either the Danville/Boyle County Humane Society or Heritage Hospice in lieu of flowers.
