Kimberly Sue Smith Parker, 54 died Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. She was born in Lexington, Kentucky on January 13, 1966 to Viola Marie Elliott Smith and the late Ervin Junior Smith. Kim enjoyed creative crafts and projects, gardening and decorating for the holidays. She enjoyed going to yard sales and always found the best deals and treasures. Kim loved her grandbabies and at “Mamaw’s” house, rules don’t apply. In addition to her father, she is predeceased by a sister, Hope Houp.

She is survived by her husband, of 36 years, Anthony ‘Tony’ Wayne Parker; her mother, Viola Marie Smith; three children, Anthony Lee Parker (Kayla) of Lancaster, Rachael Viola Parker of Lancaster, Jermey Tyler Parker of Berea; three brothers, James Smith of Lancaster, Steve Smith (Joanna) of Winchester, Carroll Elliott (Jennifer) of Liberty; one sister, Regina Himes (Brian) of Winchester; five grandchildren, Emma Parker, Mercedes Gaskin, Dailon Gaskin, Jase Parker, Charli Doolin and a nephew, Matthew Houp.

The funeral service will be 1pm, Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at Stith Funeral Home in Junction City. Rev. Achee Eads will officiate. Pallbearers will be Tony Parker, Anthony Parker, Jermey Parker, Matt Houp, Steve Smith, James Smith and Jessey Taulbee. Honorary pallbearers will be her grandchildren. Burial will be in Salyers Cemetery. Visitation will be 11am – 1pm, Tuesday, prior to the service, at Stith Funeral Home in Junction City. Memorial donations are suggested to Stith Funeral Home.
