Willa Kathleen “Kathy” Drye White, 68, died February 22, 2022. Kathy was born in Mount Sterling to the late Jerry Willis and Kathleen Compton Drye. She was a special education teacher for over 25 years, mostly in the Mercer County School District. Kathy loved her cats and dogs. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a son Joey White.
Kathy is survived by her son Jerry (Lora) White, three grandchildren; Garrett White, Logan (Brittany) Hill, and Miles (Aleshia) Hill, two great-grandchildren; Mason and Jenson Hill.
Visitation will be from 4 pm to 6 pm on Monday, February 28, 2022, at Stith Funeral Home in Danville. A Celebration of Life will be at 1 pm on Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at Stith Funeral Home in Danville. Seth Widner will officiate. Burial will follow at Danville Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations are suggested to the Mercer County School District Special Education Fund or the Mercer County Humane Society.
