Julie Ann Spoonamore Hale, 58, died August 2, 2017. She was born in Danville, Kentucky on September 26, 1958 to Jean Crabtree Thompson and the late Glen Owen Spoonamore. Julie worked as a Nursing Home Caregiver. She liked to cook and loved her grandchildren and family. In addition to her father, Julie was predeceased by two brothers, Brian Spoonamore, and John Edward Coyle.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by a daughter, Kelly Herring of Harrodsburg, a son, Jermaine Buster of Louisville, a brother, William (Marelene) Spoonamore of Portland, Texas, two sisters, Linda Spoonamore, and Donna (Donald) Taylor of Danville, two grandchildren, Tyler Herring, and Olivia Wilson, a special friend, Lucille Williams, and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be at 2 pm, Saturday, August 5, 2017 at Stith Funeral Home, Junction City. Rev. Darrell Hahn will officiate. Pallbearers will be Orenthial Spoonamore, Don Taylor, Dante’ Hayden, Roney Taylor, Brian Crabtree, Olyjawan Ford, Chris Hogue, Jeffrey Hogue, and William Spoonamore. Honorary pallbearers will be Tyler Herring and Aleko Spoonamore. Visitation will begin at 11 am, Saturday, prior to the service. Interment will be at Junction City Cemetery.
