Judy Carlene Grigsby Johnson, 70, of Harrodsburg, wife of 47 years to Norman W. Johnson, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Thursday, July 12, 2018. Judy was born January 27, 1948 in Lexington, KY to Ralph and Carlie Davidson Grigsby. She graduated from Bryan Station High School in Lexington. She owned and operated Judy Johnson Merchandising for Spar Marketing and Premium Retail Services for 16 years, retiring in 2018.

Judy accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior when she was 12 years old, and was baptized at Bryan Station Baptist Church. She had a deep love for the Lord, Jesus. She was a proud member of First Baptist Church, Danville.

She is survived by her husband, Norman W. Johnson; sons, Wes Johnson and Keith (Kristin) Johnson; grandchildren Zane Combs, Braelyn Johnson and Landyn Johnson; her two special “babies”, Bella and Tucker; mother, Carlie Gammill; brother Ken (Georgia) Grigsby; several aunts, nieces and nephews; her special sister-in-law, Ruth Lyle; cousin, Shelia and Carter Peyton. She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Grigsby.

Judy was loved by so many and she returned that love. She will never be forgotten and we know we will see her again in Glory. What a blessing from God she was. “This is not the end, but the beginning.”

Services will be 12 p.m., Monday, July 16, 2018 at Stith Funeral Home in Junction City. Bob Nash will officiate. Pallbearers will be Stan Johnson, Wes Johnson, Keith Johnson, Mark Lyle, Michael Lyle and Breck Johnson. Burial will be in Junction City Cemetery. “Until we meet again.” Visitation will be 11am-12pm, prior to service, Monday at the funeral home. Memorial donations are suggested to Heritage Hospice or your local Humane Society.
