Josh Leonard Goode Jr., 65 died on February 27, 2022 in Danville. He was born on May 24, 1956 in Danville to the late Josh Leonard Sr. and Nellie Sue Goode. Josh loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed farming and riding on the tractor. He loved to garden and just being outdoors.

Josh is Survived by his wife Sharon Lee Goode; two daughters Jennifer (Claud) Richards and Katina Pruitt; a son Josh Michael Goode (Christa Daugherty); three sisters, Patricia Smith, Linda Price, and Phyllis Vineyard (Edward); two grandchildren Whitney Armstrong (Jacob) and Justin Rose (Savannah); three great-grandchildren, Kylie Rose, Layla Rose and David Hardesty.

Visitation will be 11 am to 1 pm March 4, 2022 at Stith Funeral Home in Junction City. Funeral service will be 1 pm March 4 at Stith Funeral Home in Junction City. Service will be officiated by Chris McKinney. Pallbearers are Derrick Curtsinger, Jacob Armstrong, Claud Richards, Kenny Ward, Steven Jones, and Walter Goggin. Honorary Pallbearers are David Stone, David Noe, Scott Montgomery, Gary Taylor and Johnny Goggin. Burial will be in Junction City Cemetery.
