John Henry Lesniak, 64, died January 15, 2020 in Lancaster. Born August 19, 1955 in Dunkirk, New York to the late Ronald Edward and Evelyn Marie Allen Lesniak. John was a United States Airforce veteran. He was an ASE certified mechanic and truck driver. He attended New Journey Baptist Church. John loved his family and was a people person. He loved giving to the angel tree and fishing at Rose’s Pay Lake. He is predeceased by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Lesniak; eight sons, two daughters; thirty-four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Pam Hyland; and two brothers, Ronald (LuAnn) Lesniak, Jr and Paul Lesniak.

The memorial service will be 11 am, Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at New Journey Baptist Church in Lancaster. Rev. Keith Weldon will officiate the service. Burial will be in Camp Nelson National Cemetery with military honors presented by United States Air Force and Caswell Saufley Post #18. Visitation will be prior to the service at 10 am. Memorial donations are suggested to Wounded Warrior Project or St. Jude.
