John Francis Michael Klosowski, 77, died Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Ephraim McDowell Fort Logan Hospital. He was born in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania on March 30, 1943 to the late John Francis and Sophie Evanchick Klosowski. John attended Carnegie Tech and graduated from Tri-State University with his Civil Engineer degree. He retired from Columbia Gas after 30 years as a Civil Engineer. John has been a parishioner of Saint Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Danville since 2006. He was a sports announcer, in his free time, for WNXT. John took great delight in taking his boys to sporting events and supporting their participation and he absolutely adored his grandbabies and great grandbabies. John enjoyed playing golf and fishing.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Linda Klosowski; four children, David William Brandel (Melissa) of Edgewood, Kentucky, Christopher Klosowski (Tanya) of Florence, Kentucky, Nicole Brockman of Carlisle, Ohio and Gary Dupray (Fonda) of Stanford, Kentucky; eight grandchildren, Kennedy Dupray, Madeline Brandel, Caitlin Klosowski, Kendall Wilson, Logan Wilson, Sarah Anne Brandel, Joseph Brandel, Aiden Brockman and two great grandchildren, Rowan Merriman and Maren Merriman.
