John Andrew Begley, 64, of Danville died September 25, 2017. He was born September 20, 1953, in Lebanon, KY to Maurice and Isabelle Carrico Begley of Springfield, KY. John and his family moved to Danville in 1976 after graduating from St. Catharine College and Eastern Kentucky University. He is a member of Ss Peter & Paul Catholic Church where he was also a Fourth Degree Knight in the Knights of Columbus. John loved spending time with family, watching his kids and grandkids play ball, teaching his grandkids practical lessons (affectionately becoming known as Mr. Wizard), watching University of Kentucky football, reading his Bible, and eating ice cream.

With his parents, he is also survived by his wife Mary Reinle Begley (married July 25, 1975), two daughters Carla (Ryan) Carr, Jackie (Chris) LeMonds both of Danville, a son Taylor (Becky Barrick) Begley of St. Louis, Missouri, six grandchildren William, Andrew, and Addison Carr, Katherine, Caroline, and Julia LeMonds, siblings Judy (Steve) Lile, Tony (Penny) Begley, Janice (Charley) Blandford, Kenny (Cindy) Begley, Mary (Bernard) Mudd, Sara (Ross) Downs, Greg (Brenda) Begley, and Tom (Karen) Begley.
