Jean Frances Daniel Cronenberg entered her heavenly home, Aug 9, 2017, with two of her sons at her side. Born in Jackson, Kentucky, on July 8, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Kearney Buell Daniel Sr. and Anna Frances Cook Daniel. She was predeceased by her brother and his wife, Dr. Kearney Buell Daniel Jr. and Kitty Buren Daniel Snyder. She was a long time resident of Danville and a nurse at Ephraim McDowell Hospital until she retired. She spent her life taking care of others shown by the dedication to her career as an RN and dedication to her family. She was a faithful member of Lexington Avenue Baptist Church. The church, even after she moved to Tucson Arizona, maintained a prayerful connection to her through cards, prayer and support. Jean lived a long and full life, the dedication of her son Joe in her final years gave her the gift of being cared for at home with family. She continued being involved with the retired nurses of Danville enjoying their monthly lunches, until she moved to Tucson, Arizona to live with her son.
She has four loving sons Joe, John (Cindy), Jim (Debbie), and Jeff (Judy) Cronenberg; her grandchildren, Chris Cronenberg, Kimberly Stark, Max Cronenberg, Sam Cronenberg and Alice Cronenberg and Stephanie (Darling) Garcia; her great grandchildren, Cecilia Cronenberg, Devlin Cronenberg, Adalyn Stark, Zora Cronenberg and Lucas Cronenberg; her brother’s children, Lee (Kathryn) Daniel, Jeanne (David) Hester, Liz (Bucky) Harmon, Mary Kay (Mike Ruberg) Daniel and Sue Ellen (Jim) McFarlane and their children, Walker Daniel, Whitley Daniel, Devon Daniel, Dylan Hester, Evan Hester, James Logan Harmon, Samantha Harmon, Jessica Harmon, Mitch Deal, Jackson Deal, Ian McFarlane, Annaliese McFarlane, and Josephine McFarlane.
A graveside service will be at 2 p.m., Sunday, September 3, 2017 in Bellevue Cemetery, Danville. Rev. Keith Stillwell will officiate. Donations to the Hospice of your choice or to the Lexington Avenue Baptist Church are suggested by the family.
