Diane and Family, So, so very sorry to hear about Bobby's passing. I only learned of this a couple of weeks ago (my FB account is dormant because of e-mail change). Sadly I was unable to attend his funeral. Bobby was a great friend going all the way back to the 7th grade at Seneca High. I remember that Bobby was extremely popular and cool in those days, but he was never snobbish and always greeted you with a smile. I remember fondly our time together playing music at the Seneca '69 40th reunion and in the band that followed "Still Kickin'." (By the way, I always supported Bobby and wanted him to continue in the group.) He will be sorely missed for his good humor, affable nature, love of family and friends, and his great spirit. Class of 69 forever !! Rock n' Soul Forever !!

Dear Diane and family, So, so very sorry to hear about Bobby's passing. I learned of this only recently (my FB account is dormant). Bobby was a great friend going back to our Seneca days as early as 7th grade. Although Bobby was extremely popular and "cool" in those days, he was never snobbish and always met you with a smile. We reconnected when he called me out of the blue for the purpose of organizing a band to play at the Class of 1969 Seneca High School 40th reunion. We practiced for some months and then played at the event in, i believe, Sept. 2009. This was the beginning of Still Kickin'. We had a great time with this. Although Bobby did not stay with the group, I always supported him and wanted him to stay. Bobby will be sorely missed for his good humor, love of his friends and family, and his great spirit. Love and Fond Remembrance from the Shields family.

One of the true Good Guys. Many memories of Jr High basement parties, on thru HS, and the icing on the cake: dancing (though a different brand of dancing!) at our Reunion gatherings. Nice as they come. Blessed to speak with him a few times in his last month. We’ll miss you Bobby, but look forward to seeing you again! Blessings and God’s peace to the whole family.

I realize now . . what a blessing it was . . to reconnect with Bobby Decker this past year. I never thought I would be adding a note today on his passing. Bobby's personality . .was second to none . . not to mention a voice . . . that took a P.A.SYSTEM to new heights. Bobby, if you are reading this in heaven, remember you will always be missed, admired, and respected from everyone that knew you. My deepest condolences to the Decker Family. Perhaps for the rest of us . . take a moment . . .and reach out to someone, who made a positive impact on your life, that you have not communicated with for awhile, just to say "Hello". I believe Bobby Decker would approve. Rest In Peace Bobby .

In the 7th grade, after the Beatles hit America, he wanted to be in our little band and we needed his strong voice. So, he auditioned over the phone by singing 'What I Say'. Throughout high school and beyond, he continued to add his unique talent to several bands. We have lost an old pal. I'll miss him.
