Share your Memorial with Family & Friends

I was very sorry to hear that Herb had passed. I have a lot of fond memories while working for Herb at the downtown store. He hired me straight out of high school and taught me to appreciate jewelry and the art of jewelry repair. He was always eager to teach and share his knowledge of the business as well as about life. Later, it was always nice to see him and chat when our paths crossed throughout the years.

Sallie and Clay-I am so sorry to hear about Herb. I considered him a good friend and always enjoyed catching up with him. I still remember riding with him in that jeep to Keeneland and spending the day at the track as a great time! Hanging out with him at his downtown store I was continually amazed at his patience and attention to detail. I will miss having him in our world. My best to both of you.

Herb spent many hours on the archery range with us. He was always one of the most wonderful people to shoot with and never had a bad day due to his love of life and his enjoyment of the sport. He and Clay were a fixture at the tournaments and we so enjoyed seeing him pass his love along to Clay and other young archers that he graciously walked around with many times. My heartfelt condolences go out to all who loved and were friends with him.
