Georgia D. Taylor Woodrum, 90, of Danville, died January 18, 2018 at her residence.  Born July 25, 1927 in Casey Co., she was the daughter of the late James Riley and Lena Effie Reed Taylor.  Georgia was the widow of Ulis Levi Woodrum and the last of the ten brothers and sisters in their two families.  She had attended Eagles Nest Ministries and was retired from the Fitting Shop at Genesco. Georgia loved gardening, flowers, crafts, baking for family and friends, taking care of her cats and spending time with her family.  She was a delight to all who knew her and saw the spirit of her friendly, some might say sassy, personality.   In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by two sons-in-law, Norman Staten and Donnie Lewis and a great granddaughter, Aubrey.

Georgia is survived by her four daughters, Emma (Sammy) Burns of Greensburg, Lena Staten of Junction City, Shirley Lewis of Lancaster and Carolyn (Mike) Lentz of Summerfield, North Carolina.  She also has nine grandchildren, Ulis (Cyndi) Burns, Robbie Staten, Tony Lewis, Tracy Lentz, Chad (Tara) Lewis, Susie (Mike) Mitchell, Scotty (Teresa) Burns, Avanda (Chris) Coffman and Cassie (Gavin) Horton and thirteen great-grandchildren, Andrea and Alex Burns, Justin Lewis-Yeast, Georgia and Sadie Grant, Cara Jane Lewis, Kaley and Dylan Mitchell, Samuel and Ella Burns, Colton, Brantley and Kagan Coffman.

The funeral service will be 11 a.m., Monday at Stith Funeral Home, Junction City.  Rev. Paul McFarland will officiate.  Burial will be in Danville Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Ulis Burns, Scotty Burns, Robbie Staten, Chad Lewis, Tony Lewis and Chris Coffman.  Visitation will be Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m. at Stith Funeral Home, Junction City.  Memorial donations are suggested to Heritage Hospice.  The online guestbook is available at www.stithcares.com.
