George William Manning, 65, died Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.  He was born on March 8, 1955 and was raised by his grandparents, the late Delmar and Lula Singleton Manning.  George retired from Honeywell after 34 years.  He was a past state representative of AA.  George enjoyed fishing, Nascar and UK Basketball.  In addition to his grandparents, he is predeceased by a sister, Jadene Farris.

He is survived by three daughters, Cassie Jo Logan (Jamie Miller) of Danville, Dana Barnes (Robbie) of Florence, Helen Manning of Cincinnati; one son, Kelly Manning (Anna) of Chicago; four brothers, Monty Saylor, Shane Saylor, Jason Brock (Angela), Delmer Saylor; three sisters, Betty Lou Denny, Twana Pendygraft, Earlene Raley; eleven grandchildren, Adam, Brianna and Gavin Crabtree, Bryson Logan, Desiree Miller, Riann Manning Broussard (Zackory), Emily Miller, Dustin Manning, Christopher, Ethan and Collin Manning; two great grandchildren, Scarlett Manning and Winston Broussard.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.  The family suggests that memorial donations be sent to the George Manning fund in care of Stith Funeral Home. The family of George wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Heritage Hospice for the care and love shown to him.  The family thanks you for your thoughts and prayers.
