Emma Lee Lane King, 89, died April 20, 2023, in Junction City, Kentucky. She was born May 10, 1933, in Junction City to the late Archie Bogle and Otilla “Tillie” Katherine Kratzer Lane. Emma was a retired line operator from Corning Glass in Harrodsburg. She attended the First Christian Church in Junction City.

Emma is survived by children, Kathy (Dennis) Bowen, Lilly Proctor, Loyall “Dude” King, James (Pam) King, Jerry King, Neena (Kenny) Peavler and Linda (Greg) Wells; grandchildren, Amy Bowen Carey, Malee Proctor Hopkins, Davey Proctor, Kalen King, Jimmy King, Trevor King, Kenny D. Peavler, Clay Peavler, Cole Peavler, Christie Peavler Turner, Eli Wells and Aiden Wells; great-grandchildren, Eric Bowen, Dylan Carey, Makaylee Phelps, Dakota Miller, Teonna Morgan, Reonna Morgan, Kingston Morgan, Marcellus Stepp, Taya Reed, Chloe Simpson, Conner Peavler, Elona Peavler, Gemma Peavler, Mason Turner, Seth Turner, Emma Wells, Bentley Hensley and Parker Henslry; great-great grandchildren, Ella Carey, Lakin Luttrell, Colton Luttrell, Easton Miller, Everlee Miller and Tatum Reed. She is also survived by siblings, J.P. (Duckie) Lane, Betty Castillo, and Linda Lane.
Emma is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 50 years, Loyall Preston King; brothers, Archie Lane, Eddie Lane; sister, Tillie Lane; son, Ronnie King; and daughter-in-law, Kathy (Jerry) King.

Caesar Saurez will be the officiant.

Burial will be at Bellevue Cemetery.

Serving as Pallbearers are Jimmy Stipes, Roger Cunningham, Johnny King, Donnie King, Randy Hopkins and Corey Mason.

Memorial donations can be made in Emma’s name to Heritage Hospice or National Kidney Foundation.
