Ella Loraine Leathers, 87, died April 21, 2021 in Danville. Born February 9, 1934 in Boyle County, she was the daughter of the late Ezra James and Mary Louise League Million. Loraine attended Danville High School and was a member of First Baptist Church. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking and working in her rose garden. Loraine was a big supporter of the DHS Admirals football and band programs. She was a “homeroom” and “Band” mom for her children. Loraine loved spending time with her dogs Penny and Todd. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband Charles Robert “Bobby” Leathers; her brother James Robert Million; a great grandchild, Henley Leber; and a son in law, Tony Howard.

She is survived by her four daughters, Deborah Leathers (Nick) Raptis of Dahlonega, Georgia; Judy Leathers Howard of Lawrenceburg; Patty Leathers (Alan) Wilson of Danville; and Kim Leathers of Harrodsburg; ten grandchildren: Robbie (Sarah) Wilson, Jackie (Shane) Risden-Smith, Nicholas (Shannon) Risden, Chris (Misty) Wilson, Justin (Jennifer) Howard, Collin (Tina) Leber, Adam Raptis, Michael( Zion) Howard, Becci Cottrell and Jon Howard; sixteen great grandchildren, Hannah Smith, Baker Rose Wilson, Trinity Smith, Meg Wilson, Boone Wilson, Mitch Wilson, Will Smith, Reese Wilson, Brigid Wilson, Riley Leber, Keene Wilson, George Wilson, Evelyn Rose Howard, Taylor Loy, Joey Howard and her beloved dogs, Penny and Todd.

The funeral service will be 1pm, Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at Stith Funeral Home in Danville. Rev. Barry Harmon, Rev. Jerry Lester and Justin Howard will officiate. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren. Visitation will be 11am – 1pm, Tuesday, prior to the service, at Stith Funeral Home, Danville. Memorial donations are suggested to the Danville-Boyle County Humane Society; The Life House in Frankfort, Kentucky; A Gathering Place, or Heritage Hospice.
