Elizabeth Ann Dobies, 77, died April 24, 2021. She was born on September 8, 1943 in Wilmington, Delaware. She was a wonderful wife and mother. Elizabeth was devoted to her Catholic faith and she enjoyed talking to people about her childhood and family.
Elizabeth was predeceased by her husband William Dobies Jr., her parents Antonio and Florence Clementoni, her brother Michael Figliola and his wife Ann, her sister Mary Bandiera and her husband Victor, a nephew Roger Bandiera, father-in-law William Dobies Sr., mother-in-law Helen Dobies and brothers-in-law John Dobies, David Dobies and Michael Dobies.
Elizabeth is survived by her daughters Andrea (Joe) Lee and Donna (Ernie Hale) Dobies; a step grandson Joey Lee, her grand-fur-baby Belle; brothers-in-law James (Jenny) Dobies, Anthony Dobies, Richard Dobies, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church on Wednesday, April 28 at noon followed by burial at Danville Memorial Garden. Celebrant will be Father Anthony McLaughlin. Pallbearers will be Joe Lee, Rick Turner, Charlie Cozby, Tony Bandiera, Honorary pallbearers will be Joey Lee, Ernie Hale, Michael, Stevie, Danny, Joe, and Jimmy Figliola. Visitation starts at 11:00 prior to the service. Memorial donations are suggested to Sts. Peter and Paul Bereavement Ministry and Heritage Hospice.
