Earnest Clark, 77, died Saturday, December 30, 2017. He was born in Casey County on October 3, 1940 to the late Ephraim and Gracie Randolph Clark. Earnest worked many years as a farmer and enjoyed working his land. He enjoyed fishing and was an avid UK Basketball and Cincinnati Reds fan. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by 6 siblings.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Doris Jean Pulliam Clark; four daughters, Diane (Eric) Burton of Columbia, Rebbaccann Clark of Danville, Debbria (Bobby) Lynn of Perryville, Violet (Fernando) Hernandez of Harrodsburg; one brother, Fred Clark of Georgetown; one sister, Beulah Brown if Cincinnati, Ohio; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be at 1pm, Monday, January 15, 2018, Stith Funeral Home in Junction City. Rev. Johnny Westerfield will officiate. Pallbearers will be Charlie Tungate, Jacob Robinson, Fernando Hernandez, Jr., Ernesto Antonio Hernandez, Kaelan Benedict and Brent Woodrum. Honorary pallbearers will be Eric Burton, Bobby Lynn, Cassey Tidwell, Kayla Tungate, Katie Robinson, Amanda, Sarah and Mary Grace Lynn and Brittany Hernandez. Interment will be in Parksville Cemetery. Visitation will be 11-1pm, Monday, January 15, 2018 prior to service at the funeral home in Junction City.
