Dorothy Perry Martin, 90, died February 1, 2021 in Junction City. She was born February 22, 1930 in Lincoln County. Dorothy was a loving soul and strong Christian, a member of Mt Freeman Baptist, and a determined and feisty woman who loved taking care of her family. Dorothy was a homemaker who enjoyed crocheting and gardening. She is predeceased by her husband Morris Martin, her first husband Troy Young and their son, Troy L. Young Jr., her great grandchild Julius Cain Goatley, and her two brothers Lawrence Perry and Norman Alford.

She is survived by two sons, Eddie (Cathy) Martin and Sammy (Cindy) Martin, both of Junction City; three daughters, Barbara Young (Eddie) Caldwell of Danville, Brenda Young (John) Goatley of Springfield, and Helen (Lecky) Powell of Junction City; two brothers James Calvin (Betty) Alford of South Carolina and Richard (Caroline) Alford of Harrodsburg; a sister, Delores Cornett of Waynesburg; ten grandchildren, Dutch Martin, Cody Martin, Tori Martin, Ashley Martin, Lecky Powell, Mikaela Powell, Devin Caldwell, Brent Caldwell, John Robert Goatley, and Michael Goatley; six great-grandchildren, Morgan Caldwell,
Donavan Caldwell, Olivia Caldwell, Bryce Caldwell, Kaiten Goatley and Kajei Goatley, an expected angel, Carlie Ann Goatley; and a great-great-grandchild, Ryder Caldwell.

A private family service will be held. Rev Stacy Wilson will officiate. Honorary pallbearers are her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers memorial donations are suggested to St Jude’s Hospital and Heritage Hospice. Please sign the guestbook or send a Hug from Home.
