Donald Harold Sinkhorn, of Danville, died June 1, 2022, in Danville, Kentucky. Born January 13, 1936, he was the son of Hubert and Alice Sinkhorn. Don was a member of Hedgeville Baptist Church. He retired from Matthews formerly Rexnord, he also loved painting and woodworking while listening to bluegrass music. Donald adored spending time with his great granddaughter, Alyse.  He is preceded in death by his sisters, Helen Kondik and Jeanette Wade and his brothers, Leo “Corky” Sinkhorn, and Ronald Sinkhorn.

Donald is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Betty Sinkhorn; his daughter, Kelly Ann Sinkhorn; a sister, Louellen Simpson; brother, Carl Sinkhorn; a sister-in-law, Doris Sinkhorn; his granddaughter, Lorah Douglas; and great granddaughter, Alyse Kelly Rae.

Visitation will be Wednesday, June 8, from 11am to 1pm, at Stith Funeral Home in Danville. The service will follow at 1pm, and burial will be at the Bellevue Cemetery. Rev. Jonathan Grizzell will officiate Pallbearers will be Ricky Sinkhorn, Denny Belcher, James Walker, Brian Sinkhorn, Marty Wells, Gentry Wells, and Keith Sinkhorn. Memorial donations are suggested to Heritage Hospice or St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Please sign the online guestbook and send a Hugs from Home.
