Dewey Logan “Buddy” Anderson, 75, died July 2, 2022, in Junction City. Born November 27, 1946, in Boyle County, he was son of the late Edward and Frances Anderson. Buddy worked as a truck driver for Boyle Lumber. He was happiest when he was at home on Worldstown Road or when he was on the bank of a river fishing. Buddy loved his family with all his heart especially his grand babies and great grand babies, he would just smile and light up when they came into the room. One of his favorite sayings was “y’all be careful and watch them roads” – his own special way of saying “I love you.”  In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his siblings; Sonny Anderson, Clara Marie Moran, Carolyn Whitted, and Ella Mae McDowell.

Buddy is survived by his wife of fifty-two years and four months, Wanda Anderson; his daughters, Donna (Brian) Walls and Jenny (Jeff) Goodin; sisters, Linda (John) Pigg, Darlene (Lane) Barnette, and Eva Joyce Wheeler; brothers, James (Janet) Anderson and Woodrow (Jackie) Anderson; grandchildren, Nikki (Rodney) Maddox, Breanna (Jordan) Walls, Lindsey Walls, Isaiah Goodin, and Tristan Goodin; great-grandchildren, Jeremiah Smith, Wyatt Smith, Viola Walls, and Ollee Smith.

Visitation will be held from 4 pm – 6 pm, Friday, July 8, 2022, at Stith Funeral Home, Junction City. Funeral service will be 11 am, Saturday, July 9, 2022, at Stith Funeral Home, Junction City. Johnnie Goodin will officiate. Burial will be in Parksville Cemetery. Active pallbearers are Tony Hughes, Ronnie “Buttons” Hughes Jr, Jordan Smith, Rodney Maddox, Jeremiah Smith, and Dale Gilliam.
