Deverett Doyle Kimberling, 81, died Sunday, September 6, 2020. He was born in Harlan County on July 2, 1939 to the late Pete and Cora Maybelle Davis Kimberling. Deverett was a hard-working farmer and enjoyed fishing. He was a devoted son, taking care of his parents when their health failed. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by four brothers, Louis Kimberling, Bill Kimberling, Dennis Kimberling, Paul Kimberling and a sister, Loula Mae Sparkman.

He is survived by two sisters, Verda Goode, Ella Sue Watkins and lots of nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Friday September 11, 2020 at Danville Memorial Gardens. Rev. J.R. Fields will officiate. Visitation will be 11am – 1pm, Friday, prior to the graveside, at Stith Funeral Home in Danville. Please sign the online guestbook or send a Hugs from Home.
