Daniel “Danny” Dale Denny, 76, of Danville, Kentucky, died Wednesday, January 18, 2023, at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. Danny was born April 3, 1946, to the late Earl Dudley Denny and the late Opal Aleen Denny. He worked as an electrician at Corning for many years and served in the United States Air Force. Danny enjoyed working crossword puzzles, mowing the grass, the History Channel, all things airplanes and most of all, his beloved family and grandchildren and companion Maggie Mae.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Linda Middleton Denny; daughters, Amy Denny and Katie Denny; brother, Tommy (Carolyn) Denny; and grandchildren, Kaylen Troute, Kayli Saylor and Ashlyn Denny. Danny is predeceased by his brother, Earl Dudley Jr.; Uncle Hugh Philips and Aunt Jenean Phillips.

The funeral service will be held at 6:00 p.m., Monday, January 23, 2023, at Stith Funeral Home, Danville. Visitation will be Monday, January 23, 2023, from 5 p.m. – 6 p.m., also at Stith Funeral Home, Danville. Inurnment will be at Bellevue Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Salt River Baptist Church and/or Boyle County Humane Society.
