Christine Marie Martin Young, 92, died April 12, 2022, in Danville, Kentucky. Born January 28, 1930, in Boyle County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Moritz and Christine Marie Martin. Christine was a homemaker, loved animals, raising her family, and caring for children. She was a foster parent to many children over 20 years. Especially her fur baby Layla. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Vernon Young; a daughter, Vickie Young; a grandchild, Karen Marie Denham; and a brother, Morris Martin.

Christine is survived by her daughters, Wanda (Jerry) Wilham of Harrodsburg, KY. and Kathleen Denham; and her grandchildren, Rick (Natalie) Wilham, Robin Woods, and Scott Denham of Junction City, KY. Great-grandchildren Trey Woods, Jordan Woods, Kaley Woods, Addison Wilham, Nikki Wilham, and Colton Wayne Wilham. Great-great-grandchildren Alexandria Woods and Colton Woods, and one on the way.

Visitation will be held from 11:00am to 1:00pm, Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at Stith Funeral Home, Junction City. Funeral service will follow at 1:00pm. Rev. Darrell Young will officiate. Burial will be in Junction City Cemetery. Pallbearers are Eddie Martin, Sammie Martin, Ricky Wilham, Scott Denham, Trey Woods, and Jordan Woods.
