Cecil Perry Arnold, 61, died Thursday, March 29, 2018.  He was born in Danville on January 21, 1957 to the late Donna Jean Bryant Christian and the late Melvin Ray Arnold.  Perry was a 1975 graduate of Boyle County High School.  He worked for Wilson Masonry as a Brick Mason and for the Centre College Athletic Department in Fields Maintenance.  He loved gardening, hiking, fishing, and anything that involved the outdoors and nature.  Perry was a history buff, loved to read about it and especially enjoyed American history.

He is survived by his wife, Cindy Barlow Arnold of Stanford; a son, Dustin Lloyd Arnold of Lexington; a step-daughter, Jennifer Brooke Maglinger of Bowling Green; his step-mother, Arvileen Arnold;  his sister and brothers, Stephen (Beverly) Arnold of Jacksonville, Fla., Kathy (Stuart) Wilson of Danville, and Mark Arnold of Jacksonville, Fla., his mother and father-in-law, Jack and Betty Barlow of Danville; his step-brothers and sisters, Carolyn Brainard of Waynesburg and Cathy Conder of Eubank;  Eugene Arnold of Eubank, Tony (Diane) Cox of Danville, Todd (Becky) Lyles of Louisville, Ricky (Liz) Cox of Billings, Montana; his brother-in-law, Neil (Beth) Barlow of Tell City, Ind., two grandchildren, Hayden Arnold and Sydney Arnold and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at Stith Funeral Home, 506 W. Shelby St., Junction City.   Rev. Amy Meaux will officiate.  Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at the funeral home.  Memorial donations are suggested to Sunrise Children’s Services.   The online guestbook is available at www.stithcares.com.
