Billie Jean Cannon, 86, died Wednesday, June 5, 2019. She was born in Lancaster on December 23, 1932 to the late Eugene and Angie Howard Ray. Billie retired from Kroger where she was employed for just over 37 years.

She is survived by her good friend, Darlene Chambers and several cousins.

The funeral service will be 1 p.m., Monday, June 10, 2019 at Stith Funeral Home in Danville. Rev. Andy Mikels will officiate. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Polson, Mike Simpson, Terry Martin, Bruce Warner, Jerry Hogue, Sam Souleyrette and Larry Curtis. Honorary pallbearers will be Immanuel Baptist Sunday School Class- Esther’s Sisters. Burial will be in Lancaster Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., Monday prior to the service at Stith Funeral Home. Memorial donations are suggested to Immanuel Baptist Church Building Fund.
