Betty Ann Thompson Jackson was called home on Thursday, February 1, 2024. She is the widow of Clyde Jackson, her beloved husband of 69 years. Betty was born November 12, 1929, in Danville to the late Floyd and Mable Johnson Thompson.

Betty will be remembered for her active involvement in the community. She will forever be cherished in the hearts of her family, friends, and community and her kind spirit, unwavering devotion, and humble nature will be dearly missed.

She will forever be remembered by her six grandchildren, Chris (Heather) Stewart, Brooke (Neal) Brown, Matthew (Misty) McCoy, Casey (Tinsley) McCoy, Brett (Vanessa) Welty, and Lee (Laura) Welty. Her legacy lives on through her nine great-grandchildren, Coleman Stewart, Keenan Stewart, Adalyn Brown, Anslee Brown, Dax Brown, Ryley McCoy, Aikyn McCoy, Ava Welty, Anisten Welty, and Augustus Welty.
