Arnold Davidson, 80, died Saturday, November 4, 2017. He was born on April 18, 1937 to the late Felix and Myrtle North Davidson. Arnold retired as a Caretaker and grave digger for Parksville Cemetery. He enjoyed ginseng digging, fishing, gardening, farming, and growing tobacco. Arnold is predeceased by his wife, Judy Rogers Davidson; a daughter Donna Kay Leek; two siblings, Byrd Davidson, Vesta Brock; and a great-granddaughter, Destiny Beech.

He is survived by three daughters, Susan (Greg Belcher) Davidson, Alma ‘Binky’ Chapin, Virginia ‘Ginger’ (Andy) Adams; four brothers, Will (Connie) Davidson, Henry (Ivia May) Davidson, Jimmy (Connie) Davidson, Rex (Jewell) Davidson; and a sister, Shirley Turner; eight grandchildren, Ellen (Anthony Bradshaw) Shearer, Sharla Leak, William Dunaway, Zach Pike, Seth Pike, Drew Chapin, Anthony Hager, Jason Hager; ten great-grandchildren, Calvin (Alexis Hoover) Shearer, Taylor Shearer, Kaitlyn Shearer, Elizabeth McDonald, Damian McDonald, Amber Dunaway, Kayla Dunaway, Justin Hager, Landan Hager, Austin Hager; and three great great-grandchildren, Fallon Shearer, Ethan Hall, and Gracelyn Dunaway.

The graveside service will be at 1 p.m., Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at Parksville Cemetery. Friends and family will gather at the home of Susan Davidson following the service.
