Anthony Sebastian “Sonny” Marshall Jr., 73, died April 14, 2023, in Lexington, Kentucky. He was born July 24, 1949, in Danville, Kentucky to the late Anthony Sebastian and Thelma Holman Marshall. Sonny was a 1967 graduate of Anderson County High School. He earned his bachelor’s degree in 1972 as well as his Business Accounting degree in 1992 from the University of Kentucky. He loved water sports such as boating and fishing and was a small aircraft pilot. He was a lifetime member of the American Legion.
Sonny is survived by sisters; Carol (David) Tramontin and Jane Marshall Freeman, nieces and nephews; Tony (Celeste) Tramontin, Christy (Brad) Woodward, Ann Tramontin (Kevin) Bruggeman, Kristopher (Jordan) Freeman, Meredith Ellen Freeman, Kelly Freeman (Cort) Carpenter.

Visitation will be Friday, April 21, 2023, from 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church. The funeral mass will take place at 12:00 p.m. following the visitation. Father Anthony McLaughlin will be the Celebrant. Pallbearers will be Brad Woodward, Alex Woodward, Jim Morley, Pat Morley, Kris Freeman, and Kevin Bruggeman. Joe Morley will be an honorary pallbearer.
Burial will be at Bellevue Cemetery.
