Ann Owens Dollins Hopkins, 91, died April 14, 2022, in Stanford. Born May 26, 1930, in Frankfort, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Locie Payne Owens. Ann was a graduate of Danville High School and began working at Bellsouth at the age of 16. She worked at Bellsouth for 40 years as a billing clerk before going to work at 1st Southern and PBK. After retiring, she volunteered at EMH Auxiliary. She was a member of Stanford Baptist Church. Ann enjoyed shopping, loved spending time with family and attending all family gatherings where she was always the life of the party. She is predeceased by her husband, Billy Dollins; siblings, Dorothy Parrott, Lucy Kirkpatrick, Doug Owens, June Owens, and Dave Owens, Bill Owens, Richard Owens, Bernice Owens, and Nina Owens.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Hopkins; her son, Mark Hogue (Sandy); her stepdaughters, Rita Carlisle and Billie Dollins (Lisa); stepson, Tony Hopkins (Donna); grandchild, Sarah D. Hogue; four step-grandchildren, Kate Carlisle, Gregory Carlisle, Kenneth Shay Hopkins, and Stephen Hopkins; and a brother, Johnny Owens (Wilma). Special thanks to Carol Taylor for her support over the past year.

Public visitation will be held from 11 am to 1 pm, Friday, April 22, 2022, at Stith Funeral Home, Danville. Funeral service will be 1 pm, Friday, April 22, 2022. Burial will be in Piney Grove Cemetery, Brodhead, Kentucky. Memorial donations are suggested to Walk to End Alzheimer’s.
