Funeral Service: 1 pm, Friday, September 25, 2020 at Stith Funeral Home, Danville. Visitation will be prior to the service from 11 am – 1 pm.
Thomas “Tom” Wayne Broach, 71, died Tuesday, September 22, 2020. Tom was born in Pascagoula, Mississippi on December 22, 1948 to Marvin and Edna Mae Scott Broach. Tom served as an officer with the Danville Police Department from 1980 to 2002 and for the City of Danville as a Codes Enforcement Officer from 2002 to 2019. Tom was a member of the Kentucky Association of Chiefs of Police and was a Kentucky Colonel. He loved his family, his dog, and his Cajun food. He loved the city of Danville and working in law enforcement. Tom was pre-deceased by his brother-in-law, Talmadge Guinn.
Tom is survived by his wife, Margaret G. Broach, son, Chase (Brittany) Broach; two sisters-in-law’s, Lola Hill and Paula Gaddis and his beloved dog Paisley.
The funeral will be 1 pm, Friday, September 25, 2020 at Stith Funeral Home in Danville, with visitation prior to the funeral service from 11 am to 1pm. Phillip Coffman will officiate. Honorary pallbearer will be Tucker Pike. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 pm to 8 pm, Thursday, September 24, 2020 at Stith Funeral Home in Danville.
